ACCOMMODATION FOR SLEEPING & PLAYING:
All dogs staying with us have their own individual, and very spacious, dog yard with comfortable shelter for the day-time. If you have more than one dog staying with us and would prefer that your pets are not separated, we will place them together in a dog yard which is spacious enough to accommodate more than one dog from the same family .
Between dusk and dawn, all dogs are transferred to a secure indoor sleeping pen which is heated in Winter and air-conditioned in Summer.
Each night-time sleeping kennel is thoroughly scrubbed and disinfected daily, and all bedding is washed ready for new boarders. All daytime runs are cleaned and refreshed each day.
All blankets and bedding for both the indoor kennels and outdoor shelters are supplied, but if you feel that your dog will adapt to the new environment more quickly by having his/her own blanket, then we encourage you to bring a little extra bedding along that your pet is more familiar with.
If your dog wears a coat on those cold Winter nights and rainy days, please remember to bring these with you.

PUPPIES:
Unfortunately we cannot accept any puppy under the age of 4 months into our boarding kennel facility. If your puppy is over 4 months of age, we are happy to have them stay with us at our discretion. Puppies between 4 – 6 months of age are legally required to have two meals per day so you will need to pay for an additional meal each day. Please note the pup must be fully vaccinated and proof of vaccination will be required upon booking.
DOGS THAT ARE NOT NEUTERED OR BITCHES THAT ARE NOT SPAYED:
We will usually accept dogs or bitches that are not desexed. However, if your dog is not desexed and there is any other entire male dog or unspayed female dog already booked in for the dates you require we will have to determine if the boarding can proceed.
FIRST-TIMERS:
Short stays under 7 days:
For those dogs that have never been to our kennels before, it will be a new experience for both your dog, and us, in that the dog does not know us, and we do not know the dog. To ensure that your dog settles in well, we would prefer that your dog be dropped off to us prior to noon. This gives us time to spend with your dog, one-on-one, by taking him/her for a walk with us so that we can get to know each other, and so your dog can familiarise itself with his/her new surroundings, as well as have some play (or rest) in the day-run before being taken to the night kennels.
Stays over 7 days:
If your dog has never stayed at our kennels before and your first booking is for more than 7 days, we suggest that you give your dog a “trial period” of a minimum of two nights prior to your longer booking. Our main concern is the happiness and well-being of your dog and we would hate for them to be unhappy or not suitable to being in a kennel environment.
